Critical Tasks
Operate manually all pumps
Examine water and air pressure gauge
Check all valves for free travel
Test audible alarm
Check glands for leaks if necessary tighten
Inspect unit for unusual noise and/or vibration, ensure that it is in good working order.
Provide lubrication, if necessary.
If unit is not running or an identified problem requires the unit to be serviced, perform ALL Non-
Critical Tasks listed below.

Flush and clean strainers.
Check operation of gauges and record pressures and temperatures.
Inspect seals and packing, tighten or replace as necessary.
Lubricate impeller shaft bearings.
Inspect motor and pump alignment.
Other recommended tasks
Inspect mounting bolts and vibration isolators of the pump under load conditions.
Start and stop pump, noting any vibration and overall performance.
Inspect drive shaft coupling.
Operate manually all pumps

Check all valves for free travel
Examine water and air pressure gauge
Test audible alarm
Check glands for leaks if necessary tighten
Clean all strainers
Examine pipe work & connection for leak
Lubricate all bearings
Blowout all dust from control panel, pump and
motor
Check alignment ( coupling )
Check all operating control if necessary adjust
Check for necessary paint


Notes

PPM routines based on Complete
Running hour where recommended by the Manufacturer
